Blc. Cornerstone 'fine circle' about to open!

I got this one last week. I could see two buds inside the large sheath.

Both buds are breaking out of the sheath now and colored slightly reddish. just want to pop open the fat buds. guess I shouldn't.

Can't wait to see this one. I got this hybrid from Ching Hua 1 1/2 years ago. It had next to no roots and it took me about a year to get it well established. It is doing great now and I had hoped for a sheath from the latest 2 growths, but nothing yet.

Both buds are open today but not fully open yet. I will post pictures soon.

They look pretty! can't wait for the fragrance to kick in. that will be heavenly!

Opening more and more slowly today. The fragance has already kicked in and it's quite nice! I can only imagine it will be so good in just a few days!

Finally some pictures, everyone! thanks for being patient of my laziness.
In just about three days, both flowers opened to perfection! and the frangrance started almost at the same time it began to open, which I've never really witnessed in any of my orchid flowers.

I love the color and the shape. It is HUGE!!!! definitely the queen of the flowers in my collection at the moment.
The lip has it edgen in a different color all the way around it. I like the yellow wiskers near the throat as well.

The scent is nice and strong.

Oh WOW!! Very rich and lovely! I too love the yellow whiskers. Hope mine is as nice as yours if and when it ever blooms. I would say it is easily large enough. Thanks for sharing.
