Great dark color on this one. I love this species and wish I had more room for more clones like this.

Thanks JPMC. This is actually reasonably compact for the flower size.

Bar none, C. lueddemanniana is the finest Catt species there is. No matter how polished the pictures are, you really have to see one in person appreciate their amazing beauty. That's a wonderful flowering and after another year should get better as it adjusts to the northern hemisphere. Isn't the fragrance just the best? Not musky at all - lilly of the valley, violets, some citrus, a touch of jasmine.

That's a lovely lavender color and amazing lip. I can see why you are on cloud nine with it. Now that Mokeck described the fragrance I am trying to imagine how wonderful it is.

Thanks Mokeck and GardenTheatre. This was one of the most rewarding bloomings of my orchids that I have had so far. I do recommend one of these as they seem vigorous and fairly compact for such a good sized bloom.
The scent was heavenly and I agree, not musky and not sickeningly sweet either but you could smell it from a distance! I could have gazed at these blooms all day
