Well we all grow our orchids different. I was just telling you what I would do.
That it is the same pot it came in from the grower doesn't mean it's the ideal size. I'll wait till I see new roots forming on the new growths and then follow your advice and change it into a smaller pot, with the old bulbs "up against the wall".

I have a Catt. alliance intergeneric hybrid that blooms from both the unifoliate and bifoliate growths. Interestingly (to me at least) the unifoliate growths bloom from sheaths, the bifoliate groats do not develop sheaths.
That's bizarre (or perhaps not. I don't have experience with catts so perhaps it is normal). If I'm able to get mine to bloom again (I bought it in bloom), I'll watch how they flower.
