Blc. Hawaiian Passion Carmela
This is posted in my album but I cant recall if I did post with my usual description of my culture of the plant and its origins....
this has five flowers in one spike, and I thought it was going to blast on me(notice some of the edges of the petals being dried out)
Imagine my excitement when this plant wafted in the air a delicious fragrance one morning as all of the blooms opened.
on my album, I got a perfect picture of the perfect blooms but only two flowers.

What a really splendid yellow. Great choice! And fragrant! I am so tempted to search for it. How large is the plant? How often does it bloom?

I got this plant from Kawamoto orchids 3 years ago. This has bloomed for me for the 5th time. This blooms four times a year. The plant is 9 inches tall and presently a foot including the spike of blooms....floral fragrance like soap....the diameter of the flower is 4.5 inches....this came to my posession with 4 bulbs

Beautiful yellow, fragrant, blooms more than once per year, small - sounds like my kind of orchid! I can't buy anymore orchids, the shelving is full, I'll just take a quick look at the Kawamoto site. There is no harm in looking.

Lovely!
I have one of these, tho the only time it has bloomed for me (last year), blooms were very green, yellow lip. But I like yours a lot too!
Mine was recovering from root rot for a couple of years before it bloomed last year. Divided it this year, so may have delayed more blooms
I do remember the fragrance was lovely!

Thank You, Sonya !
This started very green with yellow lip when it first opened its blooms, then it changed into a bright yellow as it matured
I am sure your plant will bloom soon....
