Default Nice Spotted Cattleya

C. Sandra Turner (Lulu x landate).

I waited four years to see this flower. I am not disappointed.

OK now Jerry, I love the flower, the spots, the color - everything!

BUT, that photograph! It's glowing. How is it that you get the flower image to step off the page? Especially the lip. It looks like you took a picture, cut out the flower portion and then stuck it on another picture.

Can you give lessons how to photograph like that? I am serious.

Dave it is not me, it is the camera. I have it set on auto most of the time and all I do is shoot.

And Tucker, it is deliciously scented.

I think I've just fallen in love with it. But anyway, hat off for your patience. 4 years!! I don't know if I'd be able to wait that long. I'm always scared the plant might die before I see the flowers.

Orquiadicto, I grew it from a seedling in a 2 in. pot and that is how long it took it to get large enough to bloom. Oh, and I forgot to mention that the perfume is heavenly.
