Default Laelia milleri

Here's another small rupicolous gem. Laelia milleri grew on iron ore hills in a small area in the State of Minas Gerais. These mountains have literally been flattened for decades to explore the iron ore and this species seem to be at the verge of extinction, if not already extinct.
I grow a few plants, two red types, one red with yellow lips (wonderful contrast!) one almost entirely of crystalline orange color, and this one in the photo, which has an intermediate color between red and orange. The plant is tiny, with long floral stems.
