Default Small sized Encyclia pauciflora

This Encyclia species is native to the Brazilian State of Minas Gerais. It is a very small grower, the adult plant barely reaching 7" high, with relatively large flowers compared to the plant size. The flowers are 1.6" across; the large lip alone is 0.6" wide (it is wider, 0.6", than longer, 0.48"). Also, the flowers are very (but really, really very) sweet perfumed all day long!

I grow it under the same conditions I grow my hybrid Cattleyas, Neverend. The medium is coconut fiber mixed with charcoal in small nuggets (20%).
