They sort of appear in the middle of the pseudo bulb. And you need to be patient and let it do it's thing. It will wake up from hibernation when new leaves, roots and flower appear. And they appear all the sudden one day. Then you can start to water. The trick is to emulate the monsoon season of SE Asia.
It had grown this too wet and too warm in the winter in the past and it did not reward me with any blooms.
