What a beautiful orchid you have JPMC! I have a C rex. I brought it back from Peru a couple of years ago with proper cites permits thru Miami. Despite using a broker and having all the proper papers the enviro-nazies in the Ag dept put us through the wringer for 2 days. My orchid has just started to recover this summer.!

Sorry to hear of the ordeal. Cattleyas seem to be pretty resilient and I hope that it flowers soon. I know that I would be very sad if mine died.

That plant is beautiful!!! I'd really like to get into Cattleya species a bit more. Seems I have alot to live up to! Just gorgeous!

PS- It always makes me think of Cattleyasaurus-Rex! hehe
