Epidendrum denticulatum

I have taken a few keikis off one of my plants that grows in the ground outside, in a nook against a rock.
One is planted in essentially coconut fibre an da small ceramic vase and the other I am trying with very small fir chips and charcoal to increase drainage.
I was wondering about transplanting one of these (or even another keiki) to be against a (nice) rock - much like the adult outside - by tying it on with some moss to start with. Does this sound logical or will it be too damp for this species?

I'm not familiar wit the species - do have a couple Epis tho, ellipticum and a hybrid, both reedstems. Grow both quite moist ... Hope some others are better able to help!

This is one of those 'crucifix orchids' that can grow outdoors in your zone....in fact you can leave them alone and dont fuss about them at all....they are native to your area and they thrive in your atmosphere....but adding supplementary food and drink might give you more flowers
