Default Prosthechea cochleata

hard to believe such a cute little flower could smell like a big pair of feet ...odd smell to say the least. Not really bad, if you like to smell feet, but it wont hurt your memory and you might want to smell it again. Unlike some bulbos that the memory is enough to last a long time.

anyway got 2 keikis and planted them. 2 spiking bulbs with buds and now blooms. 4 nubbins soon to make my future full of feet. Is grown like everything else on the porch in high shaded sun. This one does live in an RJarworld and stays very wet in sphagnum. Almost down right sloppy conditions for an orchid. seems to like it. Still a very small plant. Ive seen these now very huge and obviously older plants make bigger fatter new bulbs much faster. Old plants. My orchid dream is to have all old orchids blooming crazy from choking on new growth and roots
