Another purchase from several years ago that would not bloom for me until I put it out in full sun year round outdoors here in So California. I suspect it can do better than this based on what other posters have shown is possible, but at least after 6 years I finally coaxed some blooms out of this plant.

Full sun in SoCal? That is a lot of sun! I am surprised. Your plant definitely likes it.

Epicattleya El Hatillo (Cattleya mossiae x Encyclia tampensis). Have not seen this cross before.

Good work getting it to flower Sounds like it can take a lot of light!
