Epilaeliocattleya Volcano Trick ‘Hawaii’
Epilaeliocattleya Volcano Trick ‘Hawaii’
(Lc. Trick or Treat x Epi. stamfordianum)
I find it easy to grow this plant .... this time in its second blooming cycle gave me clusters of orange flowers with red blotches on the lip giving it an overall blazing ball of fire effect.
It is 18 inches in height including the spike in bloom. It is potted in a six inch plastic with Cattleya media mix and given weekly weakly Algoflash fertilizer alternated with seaweed mix and worm tea mix….watered every other day in summer and weekly in winter. This is located on the east facing windowsill of my kitchen.

Beautiful! I love my Volcano Trick, too! I have the 'Fireball' cultivar. They seem to be pretty undemanding, and everyone loves the fiery colored clusters of blooms! Always a winner!

I love ALL the Volcano Trick cultivars I have seen - each a bit different, but all with the bright bold colors!

Bud, that's stunning! I especially like photos 3 and 4. I got one of these from Ching Hua in Feb. It is the cultivar 'Orange Fire' It hasn't bloomed yet, but this makes me even more impatient to see some blooms!
