Default Ecuagenera here

I got a nice surprise this morning when my Ecuagenera order arrived.

Very nice! And how exciting. I have a Laelia splendida that I received from Ecuagenera. They have such a great selection of hard-to-find species. Congratulations on your new acquisitions--and good luck!

Steve

Thank you, Steve. I decided to get some reasonably expensive ones to see what the quality was like but these were excellent. One, La Moradita, has a sheath so I'm very much hoping for flowers from that one.

The nylon netting is very typical Ecuagenera. Notice that the leaves inside the net is not damaged, yet the middle one had chafing on the tip of the leaves outside the net(but the sheath makes up for it).

Great haul !

Thank you, Bud! I noticed the same thing. The were posted from here in the UK so there was not any form of wrapping around the group of plants to protect from cold weather. That possibly accounts for some of the chaffing. The maxima is smaller than I expected but that's no problem. I am very much looking forward to this bunch flowering!

Nice selection. I have had good luck with their plants and we have been very fortunate to have them at our annual show over the past few years. They make me go Catt-crazy!

Good luck with you new plants!
