I have had this plant for several years. It is an excellent bloomer that produces flowers two or three times per year. The plant has a big fault but because I like the flower I have kept it. It has virtually no stem. All of the flowers are nestled between the bi-foliate leaves and with as many as six flowers, they are one on top of the other. The first picture is of previous blooms. The second one is a current flower. The color is so different you would think they are two different plants.
Is it stress from heat? Last year I grew all my Catts outside in 100 degree plus weather for several months. They all grew just fine (with 2 waterings per day), but any blooms that formed during this time were severely misshapen from the heat.
