Default Blc. Hawaii Stars 'Paradise'

Blc. Hawaii Stars 'Paradise' might not be the prettiest cattleya but it makes up for it by blooming 4 times a year. The largest number of flowers usually bloom in November. The flowers are 4.5" across and have a light fragrance. I took a picture this time because there were 9 buds on this one spike. Six flowers have opened so far.

How do they do in bright light? I'd like to put them on my palm tree if they would take full sun after getting acclimatized. These are very prolific growers. I love the flower.

I think it's worth a try, mounting it on a palm. I have it under pool screen where it gets bright light all day long. It seems to be very hardy and a vigorous grower.

I'll have to get one and try it. I have a few orchids on the palm. The epidendrum cilliare is doing well. Thought since it is a catt it might too. Thanks

I think it's pretty enough! with frequent blooming and fragrance, I would love to have it too!

but I am not buying any more catts. I just found out two new leads on my S.F. Cinnamon stick have no sheath again!

I should move to Florida and have back yard swimming pool with sunscreeen over it. lol
