Thanks James, Ron, Nora
The color is even better in person - a bit more orange with a slight golden/pink hue if that makes any sense hehe

James, I will try to remember you should I divide this - would be some time before doing that I think, as it's only 4 or 5 pulbs now, but who knows, it may grow like a weed - I do have one Catt intergeneric that grows like a weed, so it's possible this one might too

It is an outstanding orchid. I'll have to look around and see if anyone throws one of these to the crb. Today my c. reslendens started to bloom. I'll have a pic in a couple days. I am so excited. Also I went to the SD County Fair todayand the orchid section really sucked. Aweful oooking plants. Lots of very large BLC's and some phals. All looking like they needed a good soaking.

I don't know if there are many of these around (yet, anyway) - I think that Glen said a friend made this cross, and that most of them didn't bloom this color, but were still beautiful - just yellow rather than orange. Hope you can find one, or that my plant grows quickly lol

Congrats on your blooms!

Yeah there seems to be orchids everywhere these days - some nice, some maybe not the best ;p

I keep coming back to this image. I just love this color combination. So different than what one normally finds. Just stunning.

Sonya - I missed this post. Glad to hear and see that your division has finally bloomed for you. I'm posting the picture that you referenced earlier in the post so that they can be compared. You'll have a bunch more tampensis crosses in a few years, I have about 8 - 10 seed pods that will be ripe in the early fall.
