Brazilians
All popping at once.
C. warneri var. alba
C. purpurata var. Cindarosa Am/Aos
C. tenebrosa 'Vinicolor' X 'Rain Forest' Hcc/Aos
C. tenebrosa 'Boa Vista'
The Cindarosa variety is a favorite, pretty faces on long legs.

Absolutely beautiful!!! How do you get the purpurata to clump and stay in the pot like that? Mine wants to just grow in a line out of the pot.

You can actually rotate the pot. So when the plant gets close to the edge, just rotate it 180 degrees and should race back the other way.

This variety of purpurata seems to grow more upright than other varieties I have, like var. Carnea. The growths can reach 2 feet in height but don't take up a lot of shelf space.

What Izurus said is true - rotating the plant for each new growth period will keep it in the pot and looking tidy. Thanks for the nice comments. Purpurata make May one of my favorite months.
