Found this blooming in the greenhouse yesterday. Not too bad for a first bloom but with a FCC/AOS parent, I expected more. We will see on the next blooming. Don't get me wrong, I like it, I just wanted more.

That lip is amazing! I can see where your hopes for a better flower lie, but you will definitely know more in subsequent bloomings.

Steve - Can you tell from the pictures that I also liked the lip. What I was disappointed in was the size. I will give it this, under less than ideal conditions, it managed a first bloom with 3 flowers that presented fairly well. Growing conditions have recently changed for the better, so next year hopefully it will have a better showing. |

It is lovely just the same! I have a near bloom sized one from Miranda Orchids. I was hoping it would bloom but nothing yet. I just re-potted mine today and the roots were awesome! Mine has a new growth so hopefully that will bloom next year or whenever. Is yours scented?
