Iwanagaara Appleblossom

This breeding line using Caularthron bicornutum combined with Cattleyas and Laelias has yielded some very nice orchids. This Iwan. Appleblossom varies in color from golden yellow flowers until almost white ones. My plant has just one lead, but produced two vigorous pseudo bulbs in line having flowered both.
I would like to have found Dial. Snowflake here (another famous hybrid having C. bicornutum as a parent), but unfortunately I could not find one available yet – well, we're always looking for something, aren’t we ? I guess this will never end!!!.

A true beauty...and the fragrance of this one is my all-time hands-down, no-doubt-about-it fragrance!
Somebody really needs to come up with smellevision!

Beautiful! This is one of my favorites! I have two and I can't wait for them to bloom again....I bought one of mine in bloom at a show this spring so I have a nice wait ahead of me before it blooms again!
