Oh come on now. I know you didn't beg. That would be unbecoming of an orchidphile. But wipe the drool off your chin. It loooks unsightly

They had lots of these at the botanical garden store in March. I almost brought one home but didn't.

I remember they were in deed quite variable in plant height, flower coloring and the intensity of fragrance, but all had clusters of flowers and the flower shape were pretty much the same.
I guess I was too confused which one to pick.

The tallest one with lots of yellow bloom had the best scent, but too big for me.

Yours look very classic of this hybrid. most of the ones at the store looked like yours. light pinkish.

How strong is the fragrance on yours?

It only smells when I am quite close to it and when the light is quite bright-although not directly on it or anything. It is a nice hard to describe fragrance. Not lemony or soapy at all and not spicy. Just a nice gentle sweet smell but not cloying if that's a word! So far, this is not a very big plant. The pseudobulbs and leaves are smaller than lots of catts I have. But maybe it will grow much bigger, I think the others I have seen were more growths but they weren't larger PB's and leaves.

Regarding their scent, most of them were nearly no scent or slightly scented. some were quite strong (the large yellow flowered ones)
The plant size were mostly smaller than regular catts. some were quite big though with very tall spike. I'm talking 3 feet tall!!!
