I hadn't seen the pic with both open blooms, it looks fabulous! I hope the scent will develop as they age.

it has a mild detergent-like fragrance, but nothing like the other plant I have...

I love it! It is a very pretty flower! Sorry it doesn't have the wonderful fragrance. I smelled a hybrid rumored to have the 'aclandiae fragrance' once and became a fan. I just bought my second aclandiae seeding. My first has been mounted on a large piece of cork (grow little seedling, grow!).

Mine smells very flowery, primarily lilac I would say.
