Default Encyclia Borincana

starting opening this week after the show

the plant is medium sized unlike the mini bulbs on the bractescens parent and unlike the larger alata bulbs. the flowers are nice and flat and has the encyclia fragrance in the morning when set out in the sun.

thanks ... Its like a bractescens on steroids...Im really surprised with the violent weather swings thats its managed not to blast one bud yet.. Heat tore up the buds on most of my small dendrobes already.. Yes its too damn hot outside already. Pushing high 80s all week...with an occasional ice storm tossed in. Orchids cant like hail and then bruising heat in the same 24 hr time frame..

its been a happy plant though go figure
