Anyone tried it in S/H? I got a 3 pb small division from Ecuagenera a couple months ago and I put it in a clear plastic cup with holes on the side and leca (hydroton). It did not have good roots but now it is growing new ones. But I wonder if mounting is better in the long term. Probably is not yet blooming size. the PB are not as big as the nice plump ones in Tucker's photo!

Nice Tucker. I have a cross that likes the same growing conditions. Makes it a little easier to grow down here.

Encyclias are good orchids for mounting.

I just checked the one that came with no good roots from ecuagenera now is sending new roots in the S/H clay pellets. It may be too large to mount in the long run. I have mounted a Enc. tampensis that was not happy potted.
