Not just daffodils Male
Default Not just daffodils

In the weeks before Easter people like to put a pot of daffodils into the window. Now this Dialaelia? has the same colours but flowers last much longer.
I have no name and no tag, but I strongly believe from the lip and fine punctation on the column that one parent is a very good yellow Cattleya aurantiaca. The other one might be Diacrium bicornutum.

That's just beautiful! I love the shape and the markings of the Dialaelia's. I just bought a Dialaelia with white petals, purple lip and those same streaks in the throat. They are so dainty looking. Yours sure put out a lovely display!

While you may be right, it's more likely that it's one of the yellow clones of Jackfowlieara/Iwaganaara (Appleblossom, perhaps 'Golden Elf'. Appleblossom contains 12.5% aurantiaca and 25% bicornutum.)

Fabulous! and unlike daffodils, this probably wouldn't aggravate my allergies
