Lc. Angel Heart 'Leslie Ann'
A pure yellow flower with good shape and nice lemon scent. Long progeny, contains laelia anceps. Some clones in this offspring turned out yellow as an heritage from grandfather Clementine Goldfarb.

While you have a very nice yellow flower, you need to entertain the possibility that it is mis-labeled. Angel Heart 'Leslie Ann', according to the AOS award photo, is a lavender, longish-stemmed plant, consistent with other clones. There is nothing in the species makeup of this grex to suggest the possibility of a concolor yellow.

It's possible someone mixed up a flask label, since the yellow "Leslie Anns" are German. I'm sorry I can't help with the correct name.

Your yellow flower is very nice, however, it is not Lc Angel Heart 'Leslie Ann.'
We made and registered Lc Angel Heart, probably back in the 1990's. We also cloned a few different selections of Lc Angel Heart, among them 'Leslie Ann', which was named after one of our lab employees. Bud's photo looks like the right flower. The yellow flower is definitely not it.

Many thanks to all and special thanks to msaar, Bud and catwalker for the help of identification.
Wrong labels are the reason why I prefer to buy flowering plants like this one and do not like to buy a plant only for the name on the label.
