Short Laelia cinnabarina
Laelia cinnabarina is a variable plant as for its height, depending on the region it comes. The other day I posted some photos of a large clone, easily over 15” tall (bulb plus leaf). There, the flowers were well distributed along the terminal third of the stem and reasonably horizontally positioned. The plant I show bellow is on the other side. It is short, barely over 7” tall, the flowers are crowded at the top and turned up, like facing the sky. The orange in the taller stem flowers is deeper because the flowers are 10 days older than the others.
