nenella - Just for you, the white tag in the pot is a 6 inch tag that is just barely in the potting mix. Sorry for the quality of the picture, it is 82 degrees here with clear blue skies and the sun is as bright as heck. I forgot to mention in the original post that it is blooming in a 2 inch pot.

Three large flowers on such a small plant. Amazing! That's exactly what the mini-catt breeders are trying to achieve. That's a real winner.

Beautiful blooms on a healthy plant...the leaves have mechanical damage but its the blooms that counts...I hope you win on this...
@Discus...I noticed you mentioned an orchid name:
I have a ...
Fredclarkeara After Dark ‘SunsetValleyOrchids’
-is that good or bad?
-I dont know who is Fred Clark (I never heard of him), but is he a reputable hybrider? because I dont want to have trouble again when my orchid flowers and some sneaky chap says its not a keara but a cychnodes...
and I have to email Fred about his questionable orchid...

Fred Clarke owns sunset valley orchids. He's been big into growing orchids in that group, so one of the intergeneric hybrids has ended up bearing his name. (FredClarkeAra). It's a winner and I want some. Have a look at some of the clones on his site. ZOMG.
He has a good reputation; experienced orchid growers in my society waaaay down here at the tip of Africa go

Thank You, Discus! I never found Fred Clark on google...or anything about him or his corriculum vitae...
But I beleive what you say. To have the Royal Horticultural Society have an orchid in his name is awesome enough.
I cant wait to see the flowers on my orchid bearing his name.

I googled Fred Clark and a movie actor comes up and a candidate for senate in Wisconsin...
but Sunset Valley Orchids have his name mentioned but just as a hybrider and nothing else about his achievements.
