Default Weems Unknown Cat

Need some help to name this cat. I bought it from a collector in Ft. Lauderdale who got it from a Dr. Weems. Seems that he was ill and forgetful and it had no tag . The bloom is a little old but the colors are still beautiful. Any ideas of who this might be?

It has the flavor of a Catt. dowiana var. aurea - Cattleya dowiana Var Aurea information and photo page
It might be in it's parentage.
You have a beauty there!
Is it fragrant?

Thanks for the info, Dorothy & Richard. 2 days after I took the picture the bloom was done. Glad I took this one. Not sure if it was fragrant, didn't detect anything. Maybe it was too old. I'm glad for the lead as to its' name. It was too beautiful to leave behind. Can't wait till it blooms for me.
