Can anyone identify this orchid name for me; I lost the tag.

Its a cattleya that I brought long time ago ( over 7yrs ), and I have losted the tag. It's in blooming now. It is Orange, bloom in cluster 3-7 flower of 3 inchs, no fragrance, and once a year in Spring.

Can anyone help me identfy this orchid name for me.

It looks a lot like (formerly) Lc. Gold Digger 'Orglade's Mandarin'. Jones & Scully sold a boatload of these at the WOC in Miami in the '80s.

I can't suggest any names for you, but I just wanted to say that it's a very beautiful Catt!

I agree, it looks like an Lc. Gold Digger. There are many varieties of this cross. Your's could be 'Fuchs Mandarin', 'Orglade's Mandarin' or 'Buttercup'. My guess would be Lc. Gold Digger 'Fuchs Mandarin' but there's no way to know for sure.

Probably not. I think we can agree it's not 'Orchid Jungle' (solid red lip)
