I found my AB (cream/white variety) scents in the morning and is more fragrant days after I had it outside. (Not something I would recommend at this time of the year). With any orchid, gradual increased exposure to light is always suggested. I found that with indoor lighting, it would scent until around noon .. and when brought it in from outside ..it would scent into the early evening.
That is the yellowest AB I have ever seen .. most yellows I have seen were pale in color
What it lacks in scent, it makes up in color intensity.

Iwanagara Apple Blossom is also temperature tolerant. Mine outdoors have experienced temps in the low 30s a few times in the past month and their root tips are still green!

Well I’m disappointed... I thought this whole time that I had the pretty pink pastel one. That’s a lesson learned always make sure you check the tag even if it means rippin that bag open… ... before you buy.

Mine's yellow alright, if not for it's small size I thought I was a mislabel... I wish I can get the flower to open fully, its current form makes it look kinda unappealing...

Default hello

I have read all this info on different web pages and sill don't know two things: -These big temperature difference between day and night must be all year around?
-And is it a quick or slow growing orchid?

It used to enjoy morning sun, but now it has almost ended blooming. Going to get afternoon sun soon though!

This Iana. Appleblossom 'Springtime' was just awarded an AM (80 points) at judging on April 5 in Boylston MA. Not only were the flowers beautifully colored but the presentation (mounted on a hydrangea branch) was exquisite. You'll be seeing official record of this plant and close-up of flower in the AQ Plus soon.
