Got this one at the same time as my new Dancing Lady for .50 also.

It was a little rougher shape with some root rot due to decomposing bark mix. You could just smell it but it was the only one that wasnt a Dancing Lady so I sprung for it.

It has 6 little pbulbs that are all in great shape actually. Full and firm. It looks like it has bloomed before as well but I really cant tell. Gave it a little superthrive to see if I could spur along some good roots.

And no, its not sitting in the water. Just letting it all drain out.

Yea, I'm excited to see it bloom. I've read its a spring bloomer so hopefully the roots aren't in such bad shape it doesn't.

Well, got a question about this one. Its pbulbs have just started to turn purple. I assume its from too much light? The leaves are still a bright green.

I too got this plant as a discounted rescue from Lowes. Don't worry about the purple; a lot of eplc.'s (and epc.'s in my experience) get that as they mature. As long as the leaves stay green, you're okay. By the way, mine has just put up a spike with two wimpy buds, so maybe a bloom is on the way for you too!

I hope so. It's a pretty healthy plant and I love the way it looks.

This is a Enanthleya ( Eny. ) it's parents are Cattlianthe Gold Digger x Encyclia randii.

It was registered by Hawaii Hybrids in 2006.

Mine has bloomed! And in the meantime, I noticed five new buds on another spike.

Pretty! Mine had lots of root damage so no blooms for me. Where does it spike from though?
