If you grow under lights,make sure you have some air movement because lights emit a lot of heat and it is very dry underneath so humidity is important too.Good luck fishmommy

yeah, I have an oscillating fan right in with the plants so hopefully air movement is good.

Mine's doing very well under Phal lights, in sphagnum, watered about every 5 days or so right along with all my Phals about 6" down from the 4 foot 4 bulb T8 fixture, ceiling fan and humidifier on 24/7.

That is a lovely flower...and fragrant at that! Its going on my wishlist...

Chryss...you will have a magnificent show of blooms soon...cant wait to see those pictures...

fishmommy...the eastcoast is dry in winter...it can suck up moisture bigtime especially indoors with the heaters on at full blast...humidity is important...even spritz them in the afternoons...but the downside: cold and damp=the worst enemy of plants

Wow Chriss,yours is huge,mine is just a tiny part of yours,I am wondering how does it bloom for you?mine has 14 flowers and I can't even imagine how many do you have every time it blooms?
