Cattleya lueddemanniana
I fell in love with this lueddemanniana, I'm trying to convince the owner to sell me a division. What do you guys think, should I continue my persuit?

Most definitely pursue that! I just bought one this fall from Ecuagenera so I hope it blooms as nice as that one!

No, it's just a very good quality flower that has never been seen except for maybe a handful of people and has never been to Judging. This is the only picture that exists of it and it was only taken yesterday by me.

Yip, I'd pursue that division like a "dog on a bone", that's a fabulous flower.

Glenn, I wish you luck in acquiring that beauty. Many nice features for a ludd on it... wide petals with hint of flare, beautiful shade of pink, and that lip, THAT LIP!!!
btw, I call dibs on a division from your plant in the future.

I'd go for it, but then I'm biased: it's one of my favorite species. I think that, because of its need for higher temperatures, home growers have more luck with it than greenhouse growers.
