My biggest cattleya is C. Hawaii. I havent had much luck finding info on it online, but its parents are (C. elongata x C. labiata) x (C. harrisoniana x C. labiata). It takes after labiata the most, flowering only in the fall. It is around 7-8 inches across, and beautifully fragrant. The plant itself is 15 inches tall.

I also like to collect big flowered catts and I also recently added "Koko Head" and "Ju Sen" to my collection but they are large seedlings and have not flowered them yet.
I have a couple of other BIG flowered catts you may want to collect:
Blc. Mem. Grant Eichler "Lenette" HCC/AOS - it is the largest rosy purple with darker lip. It is said it will reach
10" across! It usually has 3 blooms at a time if grown well.
Blc. Mount Hood "Mary" AM/AOS - A bright white with yellow in throat and big frilly white lip that has a small dot of purple at bottom of lip. If grown well it will reach up to 9" across.
I just bought both of these for $16.00 each. They were listed as being in 2" pot but I am putting them into 4" pots tomorrow as they are large for just being in a 2" pot.
I got both of them from Carter and Holmes Orchids. I think they have them in larger sizes also. Better get them before they sell out this spring!

I have several large flowered cattleyas, including Blc. Pink Empress. Most of them are around 7". The flowers on my cattleyas tend to get larger as the plant gets larger and more mature. Some of my large ones are;
C. Ruth Gee
Blc. King of Taiwan 'Splediferous'
Blc. Mem. Crispin Rosales 'victory'
Blc. Pink Empress 'Lakeview'
Lc. Orglades Grand 'Yow Chang Beauty'
C. Jose Marti 'Mothers Favorite'

Cattleya warscewiczii is not only the largest-flowered of the Cattleya genus with flowers that can reach 12 inches across from petal tip to petal tip, it also produces the largest flower spikes with as many as 10 of these huge flowers per spike.

I just picked up a C. Ruth Gee from Odom's Orchids at the Tamiami show, and the single flower measures almost 9 inches. It's spectacular!
