Laelia alaori
This L alaori blooms almost continuously, as it grows, it is already spilling out of the pot. Photographed next to a R$ 1.00 coin and a quarter dollar for size comparison

Very nice! I really like the kind of rambling habit it seems to have. Is this hard to grow?

Frederico, that's a beauty. Please tell us what your growing conditions are. I bought a seedling last July, and was told to give it a very dry winter rest, and cool temps. Any cultural info is very welcome.

Hi everyone! Thanks for looking!
L alaori is not considered an easy plant, but in my conditions I have never had problems. It needs some moisture, then I use Chilean sphagnum moss as substrate. A large (more than 10ºC) difference in temperature between day and night is important to promote flowering, and I have this condition naturally. I never saw a resting period in this orchid, it seem to grow (and blooming!) continuously throughout the year!
