My catt rex x iricolor is coming into bloom for the 2nd year. I purchased this plant on a trip to Ecuador in 2010. The iricolor was rediscovered in the 60's by the priest who founded Ecuagenera in Ecuador . This particular cross in available at Ecuagenera. The lip I think is more like an Aureus lip. Its a keeper. Grows in my East window.

I also have a Catt. iricolor that came from Ecuagenera, and it is just starting a new lead and new roots. I agree, pictures would be awesome! Also, seeing that this is your first post, It is great to see another Canadian here on the Board! You are going to love it here.
