L. rubescens Male
Default L. rubescens

L. rubescens blooms in the winter regularly.
The bloom is interesting. It opens at the daytime and closes at night. Among laelia species, its bloom is short-lived, lasting about one week.

Thanks.
L. rubescens has several color versions.
I am going to add a pure white one to my collection.

I agree, I really like the purple in the picture but a display with both purple and white side by side would look amazing
