Wow, three spikes from a 2.5" pot? I definitely need to get more into the rupiculous Laelias. I recently got reginae, but I think rubescens is next on the list. Where did you get this little gem?

Joann, when I grew a lot of cacti some years ago, I read something that has stuck. "If your cactus seems to want to grow, encourage it. If it seems to want to rest, encourage that also". I use that theory on my orchids.
After this plant has finished blooming, it just sits there and does nothing until spring. Because it is not growing, I stop fertilizing and reduce water.
Stefano, I did not take a picture of the plant but I can do so tomorrow and add it to the post.
I bought it on line at Jewellorchids.com. They are a small business and their prices are reasonable and their quality is superior.

Jerry, I bought one myself at Oak Hill recently but it is a quite small seedling in a 2" square pot. I wanted to check what a flowering plant size is like. Oak Hill seems out of it now so I must have bought one of the last ones. Probably the larger seedlings get sold first. Oak Hill Gardens

Stefano, I just took these pictures with a flash. They are not very good but it will give you an idea what the plant looks like. Most of the blooms are gone. It has been very dry and windy for the past several days and the flowers didn't like it. It is growing in a plastic pot set inside a clay pot that I used for hanging the plant.
