I agree with 2 out of 3 of these!

These are definitely light lovers (ie. I grew them in near full sun in Hawaii) and they do like to dry out between waterings. However, I found these guys to be relatively quick growing, especially from a plant your size. I bet you get 2 new growths this spring (or earlier, considering the roots are very short, therefore I bet the plant was chopped up) and maybe another by the end of next summer. The spike are VERY long and bumble bees love to pollinate them, so watch out!!
