That is really special, very nice pic.I just got one a couple weeks ago so was wondering what the flowers looked like. What is it growing in? I can see the moss but what else is in there? How long has it been growing in that jar? I have done that with a lot of Phal. and they seem to like it but never thought about doing it with the Enc. Will have to try this one. Good growing.....Jean

The plant is in a net basket filled with bark surrounded by new zealand sphagnum , which is alive. Hes been in there a few months out of the greenhouse. The flower is fragrant and surprisingly with a strong smell of FEET
the spanish moss on top, I just liked it and put it there for no real purpose It looks nice

That's a pretty baby, RJ. Don't know about that fragrance though. I thought Green Hornets were supposed to be pleasantly scented. The blooms on my Prosthechea, labeled cochleata smells good, like baby powder...a curiosity, because I've read several articles describing them as unscented.
Where do you get the live sphag?

My P. cochleata has been blooming from April to November (its still blooming now...!)for years and I have never detected a scent! Your Green Hornet is beautiful! I love how it is a compact plant... mine has become gigantic!
