Oh my goodness! That is an amazing flower...mine is still in bloom...its almost 5 weeks now; and i have three more buds to open(pls look at my older posts) the flowers are octopus shaped LOL
when you wake up smell the candy fragrance and before you sleep they have a soapy ivory smell...its just amazing!

That is one cool way to grow it RJ! Mine is still in bloom for about 2 months, received a local orchid society CM award, has been uprooted out of a 10" basket (growing sideways out), and planted into a 14" basket. And yet, it is still blooming. The older they get, the more profuse they get.

No scent on mine, nor my Prosthechea cochleata (FL species) either. Yeah, I go by Prosthechea "Green Hornet".
