Hi Dave,
For the general conditions on temperatures and light, please take a look at a recent post under Trichopilia suavis.
This plant also is kept in a low position, hanging around two feet from the floor, but unlike the Trichopilia, I don’t move it to a higher position during the cold months. So, it receives a little less light and I think that this can be noticed in the photos by the dull green of the leaves. Also, I avoid using chemical fertilizers with this specific plant, preferring organic ones. It is planted in tree fern fiber and kept in a tight pot; I mean, the plant seems to like being kept tight in the pot with very little room to grow. This also can be noticed by the relatively large plant compared to the pot in one of the photos. It also seems that this species do hate being divided, or often repotted. This can be a problem. So, when I have to move it I avoid cleaning the root system. I simply place it in a larger pot and fill in the empty spaces with more fiber. From time to time part of the medium gets very old and then it is removed using water. Doing this I was able to grow it into specimen size (more or less 25 pseudo bulbs). But, before that I had my share of failures too (sent two to the orchid heaven!!). If you need any other info, just let me know.
