I purchased a bare root laelia anceps this year at my show. It was bare root with about 4 pseudobulbs. I put it in a basket with a mix of bark and moss. It has grown two new leads since and flushed out a pretty good amount of roots. The pseudobulbs are fairly plump, but I have been reading about its culture and a few talked about a winter rest. I was wondering if this is necessary and if it is, how would you put this plant through it and for how long?

Hmmmmmmmmmmm...I'm certainly no expert, but I never fully stop watering the Laelias, even in the winter. I reduce the water to about once every two weeks or so, depending on the weather. But, I never fully stop watering them.
