This is my "Im desperate because winter is coming" order. There arent any greenhouses that sell orchids (except for over-priced NOID phals) where I live, and shipping season is at its end, so I went a little overboard, but now I have lots to do this winter! I bought a whole bunch of Catt seedlings for $10 each, most of which were supposed to be small seedlings, and all ended up quite large, and wonderfully healthy. I recommend Clouds Orchids to anyone. They are hands down the best Canadian vendor I have ever dealt with!! One of my purchases was a C. aclandiae, and it was one of 2 plants that were my "splurges" at $20, and it was supposed to be a small seedling. It is small in height, but it has 18 pseudobulbs!! Im in love!!!

When I get my first flower out of the bunch, I will be doing backflips! There is something so exciting and rewarding and humbling about flowering a seedling. I cant wait to be able to post pictures of them blooming!!

OMG!!! THAT IS RIDICULOUS!!! I JUST LOVE CLOUD'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I must point out that you bought my C. aclandiae, as when I looked at the list a couple of days before I put my order in, it was still there, but when I put my order in on this last Thurs, it was GONE!!! It was also one of the ones at the top of my list. Oh well, maybe next year (which, by the way, is going to be awesome, as being able to actually save my money up for several months, in addition to the potential building of another plant stand, my first order is going to make all others pale in comparison )
I agree that there is something special in seeing an orchid you bought out of flower bloom, and I am going to assume that seeing something you have taken care of for years bloom is even better!
