Not to be an enabler, but I found some plants I wanted after I placed my order and paid, and they let me add them to my order no problem....

Unfortunately I am completely broke, and I really don't want to make a giant kerfluffl.

MAybe you could call them and explain that they moved the C. aclandiae to another page an dit was not clear, maybe they would let you make a substitution.
I like my C. aclandiae....

have they already shipped the order?

Nah, I am fine with my order, and I like what I have picked out. I will just have to get it in the spring.

Cavs 'n Orchids: for someone who has to wait until spring before ordering, you were very constrained! There's something of a hoarding instinct that overcomes us when we think of the long, cold winter season. I had saved up to go on a spree last February (that's when we have our show). There was a blizzard and with the wind shield factor it was -45 C! This coming winter is supposed to be just as bad. You made the right decision, and enjoy your young ones.

Thanks! I know what you mean, winter seems to last forever! I ended up placing just one more order from Clouds today. lol. They have a Cattleya gaskelliana var. coerulescens that I just couldnt make my mind up on (I really liked it, but was trying to restrain myself from buying everything that looked pretty), and then I saw that they put it on their limited list so i panicked and had to place another order. Ah well, the things we do for orchids! (I am also waiting for an order from Kingfisher Orchids to arrive.....)

Cody, if you are going to plan a list for Clouds in the spring, I talked to Warren today, and they have Laelia pumila seedlings that should be ready by next summer!! I am so getting one of those!!

LOL!!! I was actually just starting to make a list on the computer of 'chids I want to look for or buy come spring! I do wish they had some Cypripediums, as I do want to get a good amount of those come spring. It is quite small right now, pretty much being a C. aclandiae, a couple of Cyp. species, a Bulbo, and a Phal PH. I just need to see some more pretty pictures so I can pick out some 'chids I just have to have!

Cavs_n'_Orchids, I am getting come catts from Clouds too, since I realized that I have plenty of space on my large bright and sunny south-east window in between vanda vases, some compact catts would probably be a good candidates to fill it up.
Looking at your chids, how healthy and nicely sized they are, I am glad I placed that order.

Glad to hear! Their catts are definitely worth it! I have been doing close inspections every few days since I got them to monitor any possible growth (or worse, decline) and cant believe my eyes!! They are already putting out new leads and roots!! My C. percivalliana has 3 new leads growing! I thought it would take a few months of getting situated before I noticed any growth!! And other than a few finishing up new leads, there werent any signs of new leads or roots when they arrived! They are hands down the healthiest and FASTEST growing seedlings Ive ever had!! I caved and ordered a few extras, and I cant wait for them to arrive!
