Formerly Iwanagaara Appleblossom, this is the Yellow form that seems to be getting about lately. 7 flowers. Not fully open yet.

Wow!! I love the yellow form! Mine seems washed out in comparison. (Mines peachy toned)

It's really lovely! I love the shape of the blooms from this hybrid.

Does anyone growing this get 3 leaves on a pseudobulb instead of one or two? I've had a regular coloured smaller one of these for about 6 months. When I got it most of the pseudobulbs were bi-foliate except for the most recent one which had a smaller 3rd leaf in the centre. Now my latest new growth has done the same thing. It's the only cattleya I have like this and it's on the same growing table as others. Is it normal?

Didn't know that there existed a yellow form of Appleblossom, it's gorgeous. But it looks like no Catt alliance plants are safe from name changes.....

Mine does too. When it was younger it was only bifoliate, but once it got to blooming size, it started developing 3.
