I have had it for several years. It is an unregistered cross. The bloom is 6" in width, having fruity fragrance.

A very nice plant. I am getting one of these soon - my first. I am wondering, do they need a dry spell in winter where they receive no water? I am getting a hybrid Brassocattleya Tetradip Junko, and I just wonder how easy it will be to look after.

Susie11, many cattleyas have a cooler temps in the winter and less water, but not a complete rest as some dendrobiums and others do.

Thanks for that silken. I am going to purchase my first catt tomorrow and I'm not sure about it's rest period. It is from a german vendor and the translation is o.k but it is bit difficult to understand the rest period advice. It is a Bc so I will have to email him before I complete the order.
