To make it easier to find, it was originally named Potinara instead of brassocattleya, all the vendors still sell it as Pot. Hoku Gem 'Freckles'. I think there are other cultivars as well. Additionally, there are hybrids using this as one of the parents which also share the color changing ability. I think Kawamoto Orchid has one clone like that although I can't remember exactly which.

Nice progression! I love this orchid for exactly this reason! Yes, it's compact, has a nice growth habit, and is easy to grow, but I just adore how the flowers change color as they age. It's like having multiple orchids in one!

Yours starts out much darker than mine does, but mine seems to retain more definition in its freckles. I love the variation between plants of this cross as well!
