Very unusual lip shape for a purpurata, and purpurata normally blooms from a mature growth. Any chance this might be a hybrid?

Very nice dark purple and bright white. Gives a great, emperial quality to the blooms.

I just love this! Clean crisp symmetry and the texture, shapes and colors are so classy. I love the white and violet going into pink shade.

Now that you mentioned it, it is kind of weird. Some kind of Brassavola like shape on the lip that is pointy.
Still, it's spectacular
Can't resist blue orchids.
